CRC Celebrates Veterans Day Early in Ventura County
On September 20th, CRC representatives welcomed a large crowd and nine honorees at the annual Oxnard Chamber Military Appreciation Dinner. CRC’s Public Affairs Manager, Amy Fonzo said, “Promoting and supporting both active military and retired veterans is a critical aspect of how CRC is a constructive community partner. As an employer and active member of the Ventura County community, it is an honor to represent CRC in recognizing exceptional heroes for their sacrifice, dedication and valor.”
The award winners represented the U.S. Navy, Army, Marine Corps, Air Force, Coast Guard and the Channel Islands Air National Guard. They were selected from more than 10,500 women and men on active duty in Ventura County by their commanding officers for not only doing heroes’ work in the field, but for devoting their time and energy to strengthening the community.
Ron Van Dyck, Chair of the Military Appreciation Committee stated, “As we come together to recognize a handful of so many military heroes in our community, we hare humbled by their dedication and sacrifice. Ventura County has, and always will be, thankful to its military for their service.”
